Gainesville is a multicultural gem wrapped in Southern hospitality. We’re international, yet intimate. The people are easy to get along with. True friendships are forged here and we look out for one another, perhaps because we are each other’s adopted families.

Usually when you run into someone who happened to end up here, whether for school, a medical residency, or as a trailing partner, they will tell you that they originally didn’t think this would be a permanent home, yet here they are many years later. By choice, not by force.
